Final day of a wonderful, but exhausting tour. Thanks for following along with our adventures. I usually put all this on my blog, but was having a tough time making it work this time and these posts will help me remember….
Milan is a beautiful city (of course it is). We had a great local guide who just brought all of the history alive. Excellent.
Most exciting part of the day was going to get our COVID tests (two weeks before they decided that Americans can return without proof of a negative test). About 20 of us walked to the Pharmacy and took turns being tested. Only one person tested positive. It was a big relief that we could get on the plane tomorrow....we were both ready to go home.
We had a nice group dinner at the hotel and said our goodbyes to the rest of the group.
Heading home in the morning! I have to be in the lobby by 5.....for a long day of travel
