Strasbourg - December 7th

We docked at keel on the German side of the Rhine this morning.  Out tour left at 8:30.  We took a bus across the bridge and into France.   The firrst part of the tour was via bus where we drove past the EU Parliament building and the international human rights building

From there we walked into town via the petite France neighborhood with buildings built in the 1500's.

After a short walk we were at the cathedral of Notre Dameof Strasbourg. We had a short tour in the church and then were left to our own devices to 2 pm.

There is also an astronomical clock built in the 1700 and but pack into working order in the 1900's

It was a beautiful day with blue skies, but it was cold.  We wandered around at several markets, enjoyed a pizza (not like the pizzas we have) with delightful cheese and a hot dog

We also got crepe's.  Mine was Nutella.  Jackie had grand mariner.  Yummy!

It was a cold, but wonderful day.  Almost 12,000 steps.

This house is not straight

Neither is this one.

Tomorrow Breisach for a Black Forest tour and Colmar where there is a medieval city.
